Replacing RDC didn't work

So I've had the TPMS malfunction for a while now. All indications were that it was the RDC, including a dealership saying so.

So I replaced the RDC and reset the TPMS, and the caution has not gone away.
Carly gives me a "00604D: Error Control Unit" fault code.

It is the same whether I have my summer and winter wheels on (it's been that long), so I highly doubt I have 8 bad individual sensors.

Can anybody offer some help?

If your wheel sensors in the valve stems are original, I think you have one or more bad ones. I guess even newer ones could fail.

I think error code "00604D" is an ABS fault code. At least that's what I found on a simple Google search. See link bellow.

CC-ID 604 – Braking System Failure

When you say you replaced the "RDC" what do you mean? The TPMS sensor inside the tire? Is your car a US Spec car? Or Canadian or ROW ? Or did you replace the TPMS ecu in the right rear of the trunk?

I replaced the TPMS ECU - it's a plug-in device about the size of two fingers side-by-side. Mine is on the underside of the car, not in the trunk (US spec 2012 135 coupe).
See pic of the unit.

I think that is the TPMS antenna(there is one in each wheel well/inner fender) and not the TPMS ECU.

Like I said before... your code is for the ABS system.

I may have copied the wrong code (I don't have my diagnostic with me), but no, that module is called the RDC and is supposed to be the central receiver for all the whee sensors.
I replaced it but it didn't work. Finally found out it needs to be programmed/coded in order to work, so unfortunately I had to take it to a dealer and do that. I think it only cost about $140, but I was hoping for a full DIY.
