Rubber Isolators / Spring Shims required or not?
I installed some Dinan springs and while working on my car I noticed my rubber isolators / spring shims are really worn and need to be replaced. My question is are they necessary or can they be deleted? I have been doing some research and it looks like some people don't use the OE rubber isolators / spring shims with the SUPREMEPOWER lowering spring perch and some coilovers.

Pretty sure you'll end up with noise if you don't use them. A couple of years ago I had struts assembled by a local shop and the top insulator was bulging out. I posted a picture on here and some knowledgeable people told me I could end up with a noisy strut.
I think the metal on metal contact would be noisy and would wear something out.

You'll be reminded that you left them out every time the suspension unloads, and probably on other occasions as well. And not in a good way. Replace.
