passenger side more negative camber with M3 arms

Hi guys !

I hope someone could point me in the right direction.

I have a 120D M-package from 2006.

A few days ago my mechanic replaced the arms and wishbones with M3 arms and wishbones.

Also he replaced my oem shocks with Bilstein B4 sport shocks with new bumpstops and removed the pin of the new struts (camberpinmod)...

He took the car for an alignment, the passenger side has a negative camber of -1.0 degrees exact, which is quite normal with M3 arms but my side has only a negative camber of -0.2 degrees.

I have the car for like 2 years and the car never vibrated from the front or that the car was pulling to one side..

Can someone enlighten me about this problem?

Sounds like something isn't installed right. I have the M3 arms and pins out and got -1.4 each side. ??

How is this possible?
Checked both sides and they have the M3 arms installed with the M3 wishbones.

Perhaps a subframe issue?

Dont think I have bent swivel bearing (hub) or something, otherwise I would have felt it.

Have you had the alignment pins knocked out? You should. Maybe one is out and the other not?

They are both out when the shocks were installed with the new strut mounts.

Something has to be bent if the install was done correctly. Any accident history on your car?

Not that I am aware of..
have the car for two years and I never felt any vibrations or pulling to one side or what so ever..

Saturday I will bring the car to another alignment shop.
Could the mechanic see if something was bent? like the subframe or the wheelhub?

If the car had a accident and a new subframe was mounted..could it still be that the alignment could be off?

Just because the pins are out does not mean someone tried to get the setup even with max camber. That sounds like the issue to me.

Honestly, this sounds like first shops alignment rack is off. Wouldn't be the first time.

This is the alignment report of the first alignment shop the car went.
Sorry that it is in Dutch but I will translate

Voorzijde = Front axle
Achterzijde = Rear axle
Wielvlucht = Camber
Toespoor = Toe
Eerste = Before the alignment was done
Laatste = After alignment adjustment
Stuwhoek = Thrust angle

Well good news !!

The equipment from the first alignment shop was not correct.

I went to another and he told me that the toe on the front and rear were off, also the camber was off on the rear..
He told me that the camber on the front was perfect -1 degrees on both sides..

He fixed the toes on the front and rear and the camber on the rear.

Car feels much stable now on the road !

Thanks for your input guys !
