KW coils and camber plates?

Guys, girls too

I am writing in search of info on how to possibly use the KW V3 suspension with my DS Motorsport camber plates. I bought the camber plates used from a 1M car that was using Öhlins suspension as the seller told me...

It just does not make sense - my KW V3 has conical springs and there seems to be no way to use the original upper strut mounts with the camber plates. Must I use the upper spring plate etc from a regular E82 or what would be the solution to fix the spring and also not have the "bush" just be resting on the camber plate studs... ?

here is photo of the DS Motorsport camber plate

I believe KW coilovers are not compatible with the stock mount. Camber plates for most coilovers are different than camber plates designed for use on the OEM struts because most coilovers are not compatible with the OEM strut mounts.

Ohlin's is an EXCEPTION to that. If these camber plates were used with an Ohlin's suspension, they are probably compatible with stock struts, and will not be compatible with KWV3.

The car has stock mounts and KW on it at the moment. Now I want to upgrade the setup to camber plates

My point was that if the camber plates you showed above were on a set of Ohlins, they may not be compatible with the KWv3.

Both the OHlins R&T and KW V3 use the stock upper mounts, therefore the camber plates will work on the KW V series.
