Unhappy Good bye 325 Ti

A short period together, but a buyer made a offer to me on Sunday and I've accepted. Mech inspection tomorrow and it should be gone by week end

Car less for 10 weeks or so

The wait will make the arrival of the new baby all the sweeter. Anyway a break from driving in that Sydney traffic can't be a bad thing.

Did you end up dropping much on the sale?

My Z4 is going out this week and after nearly 3 years of faultless ownership it is going to be a sad day...

spdrcr - not a cent, I actually got more because I added Bixenons. Basically the cost me $2000 for 4 months of ownership.

A sad day, indeed. I'm sure youll perk up when you roll up to BMW Sydney and collect your new 135 - We'll have to go for a bit of blast during the first few weeks, wont be many 135s around - let alone a PAIR of white ones

The cruise (and pics!) is a MUST.

ps: are you getting custom plates? I'm going for the short black plates with white writing, I think it will look nice on the Alpine White duco. This is what I have on order:

What does the plate mean? I have a special edition Victorian plate ordered recently. It's strictly for Azns only. Lol.

Oh, and my GTI went as well on the weekend. It's been sitting there unused for awhile so it's a good thing. I didn't advertised it but someone from VW Vortex bought it. 2.5 years of faultless motoring and didn't lose as much money on it as I did in 9 months on a MCS!

It doesn't really mean anything. I've had full personal plates in the past (see username) and they just draw attention. I don't want to give the RTA $400+ / year either. I wanted something clean, simple and symmetrical. I did some searching on the RTA site and this was the best I could come up with...

I also ordered a variation on the theme for my wife so we can (kind of) match.

This is where Vicroads is so much better. We only pay for these things once. For example, I have had my WAY plate for donkey years, and all I ever paid for was $395 to purchase it some 12-13 years ago.
