I'm sorry, I just noticed that you said the winglets are 2.5" off the ground, can you measure from ground to jack point ? (do you still have the plastic moulded pieces attached to the car?)
That winglet measurement doesn't make sense to me. Your fender lip height is the same as mine but your winglet is 2.5 and mine are 3.5.

Thanks.
I re-measured the winglets. Mis-read the markings on the tape measure - I've got 3.25" clearance under them (with completely worn, about to be replaced, 225/40 MPSS.)

Don't have enough clearance to get a good read on the front jack point.
Harbor Freight steel 3-ton low-profile floor jack has about an inch of clearance before hitting the pad. So probably right around 4" above the ground. But that's not a very accurate measurement.

Thanks, all this is very useful information for me to make a properly informed decision. It looks like we have all the same ride height characteristics so I can swap my set up to one similar to yours and hopefully stiffen up the ride while eliminating the rubbing, which is exactly what I want to do !
Last question, then I'm done.
Did you need to use the camber plates or did you just do it anyway ?

I currently have -1.6 and -1.7 deg negative camber up front. For that, I needed the plates.
I think it's a bit too much for DD / street use.
At 21k miles, front tire inner shoulders are worn to the cords, but I'm not to the wear bars yet on the tread.
So, after getting new front tires on Saturday, I'm going to have it backed off to -1.2 or -1.3 degrees.
I'm not an expert, but I don't believe that camber plates are required for that level of negative camber, though you'll probably need to remove the camber pins. From what I understand, using the Dinan plates to get that level of negative camber puts me in the middle of the adjustment range. Without, you'd be at the far end of available camber.
But you'll want to do some more reading to make sure I'm not blowing smoke (or remembering it wrong.)

I do note that people say they add about a 1/4 inch of height to the front end. So I wouldn't mount the Swift's without 'em. Even with, I wouldn't mind a little more clearance up front.

I'm not looking to track it or even drive it particularly hard as a DD, just go with the stock alignment - assuming the konis and swifts will allow it....will they ? As I said earlier, I'm a complete noob when it comes to suspension. I saw the pics you posted and thought, that's exactly the "look" I want. I doubt your negative camber is even visible in the pics.

I was wrong about the available negative camber.

I think you'll need some just due to the lowering. How much is clearly up for debate, and a matter of personal preference.

If you don't add spacers, I don't imagine clearance will be an issue regardless.

Oh I think I see, if I use the spacers then the neg camber pulls the top of the tires inwards so they don't rub ?

This looks sick. I ordered my set today. Curious how much drop you went with and what size tires you're running and if spacers or not. Also did you use a camber plate up front?
