Performance Shift Knob, Shift Boot, e-Brake
Thought I'd share a small update.
I was not happy with how the Perf knob and OEM leather boot looked. The Performance boot from the short shifter kit fits PERFECTLY with the Perf Knob. The boot does not sag or expose the shift rod. Stays snug underneath the knob. The Perf e-brake handle and matching alcantara boot elegantly finishes off the look.

Yea, perf wheels are sexy. But, that steering wheel is drop dead gorgeous. I love the perf boot and e-brake. Good job

Contact Dan @ United BMW for the latest pricing but it was 120 for the e-brake/boot.

how do you like the feel after driving with it for a while? I am debating the SSK and the feel of the knob is one thing I'm not sure of.

I find myself grasping and shifting with my thumb, index and middle finger, rather than before. I would have to say its less comfy than the stock knob but not too bad.

I don't like the perf. steering wheel... i would say perf. wheels+brakes next.

I wish my center console didn't have that ugly wart where the third cupholder is supposed to go. Can you get the shifter and boot without springing for the whole short shift kit at $400?
