BBS E88’s mounted on a 128i…
Anyone running this setup? I’ve seen 1M’s running these wheels but have not seen any 128’s or 135’s.
I am not a track guy nor do I race, but these are my dream wheels. Thanks… |

if you're already looking at e88s, you probably realize it'll be expensive. if you're serious, call BBS USA in california and ask for Robert. he's amazingly knowledgeable about their product lines, and he's also up to speed on the intricacies of e82 fitment, so he can help steer you toward the right build specs..

For sure I’m going 18’s with the maximum lip size allowed.
Installing KW V2’s tomorrow so after that I’ll have a better idea of the fitment. I will keep you posted. Btw, these wheels are backordered 10 months. YIKES! Yes, I hopped on the bandwagon but I have never seen a 128i with E88’s so… |

I have 3 piece Work Meisters on my 135i. Pretty similar in design to the E88's.

If you're gonna drop close to $10k on wheels honestly might as well just do 1M body so you can actually run an aggressive fitment. The fitment you'd have to run on the stock 128 narrow body probably wouldn't be worth it. I think widest you can go is a 9.5 in the rear. With E88's you'll wanna do a 10.5 or 11 in the rear.
