Spacers, bolts

Stock suspension for now.

My question and concern is do I need longer bolts for a small spacer like a 3 or 5, and do I have any hubcentric concerns? This is for auto x and HPDE.

I have 17" D-Force (17x9-X-ET41 or 17x8.5-X-ET40, can't remember offhand) with 245/40-17 which I ran on my 99 M3.

I've checked them for fitment and I have ever so slight rubbing on the front struts. Can't hear it but when I took it off it was there. 3mm would probably do it, but a 5 would give more assurance.

It appears I can run this without rolling if I keep the spacer conservative.

Thanks,

Jim
