1M spotted Portland, OR 9/22/20 1300

Been awhile since I've dropped in here.
Had the pleasure of being behind an AW 1M with Pacific Wonderland plates out of downtown Portland to the west side today.
The driver hammered it and left my 981S in the dust LOL.
I still have my AW 1M in storage.
Brake fluid, oil change, and rear tires are up on the docket.
Who needs retirement money anyway?

Your car should see acceleration of 0 to 60 in the 4 range right?
I think you could have kept up with the 1M, unless he had it tuned further.

If this is accurate, I think you'd have to get the jump on him to keep up.

Brings back memories as to why I bought my 1M

Which road out of downtown? Burnside? Last Sunday I was going for a walk through my neighborhood and saw what looked a 1M parked out in front of a house. It had a car cover on it, so I couldn't tell for sure, but the outline of the rear fenders sure seemed like it was. Maybe it was the same one.

Portland? I'd leave it in storage until all is quiet on the Western Front.

I use a Dinan Stage II, BMW approved and just perfect to make the car perform as it should have from the factory. Very fast.

Saw a 1M today on the westside of Portland off of Cornell. Had what I assume was a blue wrap. Kind of a lighter metallic color. Even without the brighter color the car sticks out, but this one popped. I wonder if it's someone on here.

If any of you 1ers in Portland want to get together. Would love to cruise or grab a drink/food. I have 135 around Cornell area. Single turbo, etc etc. Would love to get together with more 1 series in Portland!

Cheers,
AZ
