Auto Logic Tools for Independent BMW Garage

My Indy BMW shop is advising use of Auto Logic Tuning Tools to boost HP and TQ for 2011 135i N55 engine. Claims of 40+ HP and 80+ TQ. Has anyone found similar advice form your local Indy BMW shop? Here is Auto Logic web site: (http://www.autologic.us/en/pages/hom...mw-diagnostics).

Got the same claim from an independent shop here that has a pretty good rep. I'm not well-seasoned with all things "tuning",
so I was curious if any of the experts here have any experience and/or feedback on Auto Logic...good or bad.

the claims are substantiated.

takes about 24 hours for the service, they download your ECU, it gets emailed to the UK, gets modified, send back to auto logic, upload to your car.

cobb would be a far better choice as its updated from time to time. an autologic tune is a pretty basic upgrade with no real further development or updates available

Cobb is not available for the N55 yet.

My apologies, I overlooked the platform

Any workshop with an Autologic is VERY serious about the BMW platform. This tool costs only a few dollars less than the real tool used by BMW. (About $15k with limitations, full version more)

Autologic have a direct relationship with BMW and (as far as I know) are the only third party that is licensed to software update just about every BMW module

Autologic tunes are performed by one of the most respected tuners in the world. I believe he is working from the West Coast USA right now

Autologic's tuner (from my research) was the FIRST to custom tune an N55 in the US (and possibly world) through ODB

I honestly think your car will pretty much perform as stated with an 'autologic tune', please advise us of your before and after dyno results
