Going back to stock. Damaged stock intercooler coupler

I damaged the stock intercooler coupler when i cut the stock pressfit hose clamp with a cutting wheel. (Item circled in attached picture)

That coupler cannot be bought by its self from BMW, instead you have to buy the whole intake tract for $400.

Any suggestion on what to do if i want to use the stock intercooler?

Factory intercooler uses a C clamp design and wont work with silicon couplers.

If this is a lease return I would fix it right the first time with OEM parts. I'm sure BMW would find this and charge you a bunch $$.

There are often people selling stock IC setups for as cheap as $50 on here and E90post. Find one and be sure the coupler is in good shape before you buy it.

Make the most of the situation and upgrade the Fmic with an aftermarket one with aftermarket couplers and clamps.

Also check car-part.com. It's a search engine for every scrap yard in the USA and I've found sooooo many good deals their. You may find what your looking for. Also you may find a yard near you with a totaled 1series that you can pick apart.

Just a thought

In that case just use aftermarket couplers with clamps as already suggested. Nobody is going to see it.

I vote going the route of finding a used one. Plenty of people selling theirs once they upgrade their intercooler to aftermarket.
