09 128i resetting brake pad sensor / front service light
Anyone know how to reset these lights? I've tried most of the things on YouTube I found and none of it works! Everyone says the bc button and all that then hold down the trip reset on the dash but that doesn't work! Let me know.. Thanks
(The brake pad sensor light is the "Brake" light on your dash) |

I just replaced pads and am having the same issue because I did not do the sensors too. Anyone know if we can code out the brake light/service now upon startup? Really want to avoid tearing it all apart and putting new sensors in...

The service light won't reset if you don't put a new sensor in. The old sensor already made contact so it's going to report that the brakes are due.

I had that and when I was fixing my airbag error light i had to buy the icarly app and wifi dongle thingy. I was able to clear that pos code that's been on the car forever and the other codes that wouldn't clear using the bc module.
