F20 M Performance wheel on E82?

Im sure this is somewhat of a stupid question to ask but I figured there could be a way to make this happen so I'll ask anyways. Managed to find a v2 M-Performance steering wheel (oled display) for an F20 M135 AT at an insane price, ~$450. Comes with everything but the airbag assembly. This wheel is part number 32302230187. Ive seen some retrofits of f20/f30 oem wheels into e90/e82 cars via some wiring modules to get the steering wheel controls to work, but I'm more curious as to whether anyone can chime in with insight into the wiring for the wheel display. Is it possible that the display and its features could be utilized by simply doing some depinning and wiring trickery? Or is it more likely that everything is pretty different between the wheels for the two chassis and this is a silly idea. Im fairly new to this platform and come from working on older and simpler cars in general so any help is appreciated!!
