ECS Tuning occ
Hey there guys and gals, I purchased an ecs occ a while back. Searched everywhere for a review on the system but didnt find anything. So i went ahead and bought it anyway bcs of the quality and location to mount. I've seen reviews of the bms occ after 5k miles and nothing catches. Just turned 1,500 miles since I installed my occ and its topped off (8oz) this catch can also has a dip stick to keep track of the amount in the cc. This system is the best bang for your buck no joke! Wont probably need the low side occ anymore for those of you running two i was planning on getting the rb external system but not anymore. Would totally recommend this occ to everyone. Probably checking the dip stick every few hundred miles till you know how much you are getting would be helpful since my cc was totally full. Probably 1k miles is good enough to empty it out.

You will want the low side external. Also, you probably need a new pcv.

This is for the n54 sorry forgot to mention that. And no, with this system you do not need the external pcv. What ecs did was they plug the pcv valve. They totally remove and delete the valve and put a solid plug in place.

So the ecs occ plugs the positive (acceleration) path for the crank case ventilation system and only runs the normal path, which is then routed through their catch can?
does that mean with a plug in place of the pcv valve, that during positive crank case pressures they are now routed through the normal path as well? |
