What am I doing wrong - JB4 question
Hi,
I recently installed a JB4 on my 2012 E82. Using the steering wheel controls I can change the maps, set shift lights... However for options that would toggle ON/OFF using the same menu, I can't get them to switch. As an example, the traction control is currently doing the "one push" on startup. That's a great feature that I will use in the summer, but with winter driving conditions I'd rather not have it right now. I tried going to the Speedo 6 and Tach 4 menu then moving the speedo back to 0 + one push down (i.e. exit JB4 menu) but when I start the car, the traction still continues to be off. Any suggestions ? |

Once you are on 6/4 try clicking both the volume down and music down like how you would access the JB4 menu. Same process as toggling stealth gauge mode and configuring the gauges.

I sent the question to BMS, they were very fast at replying. Turns out the firmware was not up to date. A quick firmware update and now everything works perfectly.
Big thanks to BMS (Jon) for the help ! |

Yup. JB4 problems almost always related to firmware issues. Have fun with it!
