Would love to see these bumpers and sides sitting next to the clone for a good comparison on width and looks.

Good. Lord. As if one wasn't enough....

Always feels good when people do the 1-series justice. Love your first build, and I'm equally looking forward to seeing this car come along too

Fun, but the s65 will be more of the same.

I'd strongly recommend an s55 swap.

I don't want to R&D an s55 swap. S65 with a blower is a very different animal than an NA s65. I can push 530hp chilling on 8lbs boost with an s65.

I'd much rather see the S/C S65. It will be better to drive too.

Any reason to not just go nuts and look at the Gintani Twin Turbo setup for the S65? I'd assume spacing reasons? I just know even at 8 PSI on a TT kit you will make more power and much more torque.

Either way.. I'm so freaking excited to see this build.. I wish I made more money so I could do something like this.

Gintani is $30k + s65 swap. That engine set up alone would cost nearly as much as a 2015 m3.

Well that makes sense. I haven't seen many numbers from the Harop Twin Screw SC (I know it's a positive displacement kit, so it will spool like a turbo anyways). Please do this car in Montego Blue. :P

You can't build an aggressive wide body car, then make it sound like a lawn mower.

You mentioned e82 as the car. 1M or 135i as the foundation for this second build?

It would be smart to use a cheap high mileage 128i as a foundation.

S55 is heavier than the S65- right? I thought the A2W added like 20lbs.

Even if it's a push (like N54 vs. S65), the S65 is much closer to the firewall (and center) than an I6 w/ turbo plumbing.

And... the S65 is a borderline exotic motor.

Going to build on a 128i. Just need to find one with xenons and sport trim.

Hell yeah, can't wait to see this new build man. Any idea how wide you will be able to go in the rear or does the RAZE kit retain the factory 1M width in the rear?

I can probably run an 11.5 or 12. I will try and fit a 10.5 front and an 11.5 rear. I want to try and keep the stagger within an inch.

I have a similar project for years: doing a S65 swap. Actually, I don't know if it will become a reality (ie if I will put this S65 in my E82 or if I will go to another motor) but I really would like to know if I will be able to do the job without replacing the subframes or not ...

Any idea ilikebmxbikes ?

In addition, stuff you bought from Revozport is just incredible ... They provide such good material and their carbon fiber seems to be awsome !

You said you will use a 128i base, but will you put some turbos or whatever ? Will you do a S65 swap again but this time with blowers ?

You need to do the subframes. With an m3 subframe the front will bolt up vs having to make a custom set of motor mounts and modifying a non m subframe. The rear subframe also grants you the use of an oem m3 LSD and suspension. You only need to modify the driveshaft by shortening it.

Can't believe I didn't notice this at first... What happened to the 1M front air curtains? Any reasoning for it being ditched with the GT?
