iCarbon still in business?
I stumbled onto this German 1er forum and was surprised to see iCarbon all over the marketplace section. They claim that some of the products are now made in Germany and are of improved quality. Interesting that a US based company is now only selling parts in Europe. I'm sure if they can bring us high quality German parts they will sell well even with iCarbon's crappy reputation.

From what I have been told iCarbons stuff is all made is Taiwan but they have mold exclusively on it for the US thus no one can replicate it unless they make brand new molds. Now I don't believe this exclusive agreement works for Europe. So I would assume someone just purchased the European rights to the molds.

There was a big deal about this a while ago. A guy in Germany began working with iCarbon a while ago to make a "european division" of some kind for the company. However, iCarbon never communicated with him, never really followed up, and left the guy for broke. The guy posted on here warning us about this, but then he mentioned that he found a new manufacturer/supplier, so he probably has continued selling under the iCarbon name despite the carbon fiber coming from a different supplier now. I have no idea what/who this new supplier is, so I can't really say anything about the quality or price of the materials.

Perhaps HPAutowerks can post here bout this, as they have several ICarbon parts they had on a "buy now, receive later" basis making it apparent that they were going to be getting loads of ICarbon items in the end of October I believe it was.
