No, there's no need since the Di-Noc vinyl has pretty strong adhesive already on it.

I don't, sorry. Since I did my install myself, I didn't research local installers.

To those who've done this to a '10-'11 - does the center console still need to be removed in order to remove the trim around the cubby (where the ashtray used to be)? Just want to confirm. Thanks in advance.

This thread inspired me to do the same. If was very easy to do. The center console took me less then 10 minutes to remove (15 to install). The explications were perfect and really helped (thanks to the OP)

Di-Noc is a fabulous product that allows newbies like me to achieve great results. It is really easy to work with.

Here are picture of my car with Di-Noc installed.

Looks great! You did an awesome job making sure the weave pattern matched up correctly! Wish I had the patience to take on that project!

I really do not have any patience... but my hate for the wood gave me the necessary patience I guess.

If only there was such a way to make it glossier, more in terms of how wet CF looks in the sun.

Has anyone accomplished this w/o removing the center console? Seems like it would be possible to slide on top, stick in down and exacto knife trim around... ??

Yep. I couldn't figure out how to take off the DCT shifter when I was attempting to remove the console. You can't wrap the entire cubby piece that goes under the radio without removing the console. The unwrapped portion isn't visible unless you're peeking under there with a flashlight though so I'm happy with it.

There is glossier carbon wrap available or you can try this. I didn't go that route because vinyl will never look like real carbon fiber so it might look tackier than the subdued matte look.

For those with an ashtray, do you split/seperate the top lid, or simply stick to the top and trim around the edge and that little aluminum bar thing?

i know this is older but not certain if you were answered. I trimmed around the edge and little bar since I wanted to align the CF pattern. It's pretty easy if you can take out the center console. I'm always doing something with the wiring so I can take out the console in about 5 min
