According to my BMW dealer in southern part of Sweden, they have had four 1M totaled if I'm not mistaken. They cover just 1/8 of the population... SENSITIVE PEOPLE SHOULD STOP READING HERE ....ARE YOU REALLY SURE? ...REALLY REALLY SURE?? Below two currently for sale in parts up in the northern parts. (South 4 vs North 2)

I wonder if there is another component of the value equation that could be considered in the ratio of wrecked cars / total sold vs that ratio of the M3. Too much of that comparison might be wrapped up in the type of buyer, like comparing it to Toyota camrys I guess.
Is it more valuable because its more unpredictable and that makes Iit even more rare, in that car manufacturers don't tend to make wreck happy cars. It's not good business. I am new to this forum but I love how posters on here are literally from around the entire globe! |

BMW dealerships in Germany have 7 x 1M cars (was 20!) for sale nationwide. Price range €50-60K.
Roughly 30 cars are offered for sale outside the dealership channel. Prices start around €40K. |
