Switching Headlight Assemblies

Is going from zenon/adaptive headlight assembly on a 2009 135i to halogen as simple as plug and play? Mine are on the fritz and can't figure out what is wrong. Can't find a decent used set for a good price and the halogens are sooooo much cheaper. Thanks.

You need to code the NFRM module or you will get errors but physically yes, they are plug and play. Easiest way to do the coding is to just edit your VO to remove the adaptive Xenon option then default code the NFRM.

Saves better than 6 lbs per side too!
