They told me 1,800 for the FMIC! And 1,200 for the radiator!! AND they also recommend upgrading the oil cooler will their all alloy design. The guy did not know the price of the oil cooler off the top of his head. All prices were without 19% tax(I think?).

Rudi talked to him about SW flash tune. They do before and after dyno's... and the complete packaged runs about 1,700 euros.

For the N55 he said they can get 380 PS out of it and its lasts.

Also for service work they said they only charge 38 euros per hour(that is also without tax) if we bring them a VAT form they would be happy to work on one of our cars.

Its probably best just to send them an email and ask for the prices. They had an awesome shop!!

You think we would get it cheaper if we buy 5 hoods from them, like a group buy? I believe it is the best looking hood out there for the 1er. If jk gets some numbers from the intake I would be thinking about it to.

Ooooook Manhart sent me the price quote for 5 hoods.

Carbon fiber - € 1295
GFK ( which I am assuming is fiberglass) - € 1000

Prices are without VAT but he said it includes shipping. I wrote him back explaining that we live on base and would need to pick the hoods up which might change the price. I'll post more when I get a reply.

They said if you want the "closing" mounted on the hood by them, it's an extra €120 a piece. I think they are talking about the hood pin locks on the hood, could save some cutting and potential damage but if you choose not to use the hood pins then you don't have to.

Also the hoods come primed and he said the CF hood don't have a visual carbon fiber finish. I don't know what that means but since most of us talked about painting it I don't think that matters.

If the CF doesn't have a "visual carbon fiber finish" what's the extra €295 for?
Make mine fiberglass and I'll use the savings for the hood pins and paint.

€295 difference for that much of a weight savings and the strength of CF is actually worth it, however you are correct that the €295 would pay for the hood pin locks to be installed.

I mentioned having them paint the hood and they said that was possible. Unless the paint charge is insane I'm in for one of these hoods (still not sure about CF or FG) with hood pins installed.

So the CF hood is 1295 euros and then 120 for the hood pins (which he recommended). The only thing that I would really want is that you can see the CF on the vents, which would look bad ass!
