1968 1600-2 Project Car
So heres the info the car is trashed beyond belief and I am going to do a full restoration at my shop the seller has no idea what he has apparently and i am picking it up for $100 Now here is my little concern..... I think it might be a 1600 ti but I have NO way to confirm it has the old booklet and when i matched the numbers with the vin i confirmed its a 1600-2 now for the ti part would it show on pink? I am a bit confused Ill post pics tomorrow and Ill be doing a step by step of the resto process... Any info from those of you with experience on this car would be appreciated because i've owned a 2002 got excited when i saw this and it turned out to be a 1600-2 now im a bit more excited but ya enough with me just some info if possible...

That's a hell of a lot of work. Must be a way to get a new title for it.
I'm def interested to see the progress. Had I known you were interested, I could've hooked you up with one of these: http://www.autoscout24.eu/List.aspx?...rue&sort=price |

compare it to this 1968, 1600cc - click the pic so you can see them all to include the engine.
http://www.autoscout24.eu/Details.aspx?id=vqriadlvefqa That thing has been sitting there so long, who knows what "projects" were done on it. Maybe an engine swap PS. when I get to Cali, I would love to check out your shop. I want to pick up a hot rod. |

I am not even sure as to the direction I want to go with the car yet. I have not thought about the engine or anything past gutting, cleaning, removing rust and repairing the body. As soon as I figure out the details I will let you know but ahhhh just soooo many things i can do to it!

I'm not sure how Laguna Seca blue would look on that. I think Crimson red or Inca orange would look pretty good though.

The teal color would also look good. I like red as well, but whenever I think of a car that size in red, I always picture a late '60's or early '70's Alfa Romeo GTV.
