Just picked up AR catless downpipes
How much louder will my car be? I have berk mids and berk street exhaust. I'll be installing a ETS front mount, charge pipe and a sealed intake at the same time. How fast should I be at the 1/4?

If you make a recording of what yours sounds like now and compare it to this video of catless AR DPs with Berk full street exhaust then you might get some idea about the difference the exhaust system will make.
I'm not certain but I don't think the FMIC, CP or sealed intake will make any difference to engine sound. If it was an open intake (e.g. DCI) then that would make a difference. Perhaps someone else could provide better insight. I would guess the 1/4 mile would be low 13 - again only a guess based on the mods you mentioned, which doesn't include a tune. |

Ah yes, I missed the Cobb in your signature. I'm not too familiar with the changes Cobb brings so can't comment in that regard. If it adds a bit of power at the wheels then you would think a high 12 would be achievable - the fastest 1/4 mile time on dragtimes.com for a stock 135i is 13.0s, while the majority are around 13.3s. Steptronic helps too.

Well I'm hoping I can get the car down to mid 12s at the quarter mile

Depending on your skills and track prep, mid 12's should be attainable. Over the weekend, I ran a 12.6 with a stock 6AT and JB4 on map 5 running E40.

So you pulled the trigger on the dp's. Nice. I am going to get a protune either before or after the winter. But it is coming. I also just got the UUC sway bars that I have to install.

Yeah I'm pumped.
I'll most likely wait to install them after the winter. Definitely going the pro tune route also. I just need to pick up the ETS front mount/charge pipe with forge DVs. Still debating about spending the money on a seal intake or just getting a drop in.

That is the exact route I went. With the added power the necessity to change other parts becomes evident.
