I agree that looks a lot better then the merc, the design is a lot more cohesive albeit somewhat constrained and conservative in comparison!

Exactly. Ridiculously conservative design. Actually one could easily argue there is no design at Audi thesedays. Just variations on a template cooked up a few years ago.

A heavily optioned S3 sedan can be had for about 70k.

Not sure the difference between a S3 and a CLA/M235 is 25k of noticable

Seen both A45 and CLA45 in flesh. They look way better than S3 and M135i plus they sound amazing!! Love the pop and flames.

^ bet you can't wait... Should be some nice tunes out next year. Be cool if a tune could have the car permanently 50:50 awd. Probably too difficult. Can't believe I am saying this, but the hatch is starting to grow on me. Never had a hatch b4.

I will be on the hunt for a cancelled order, or demo in the new year for either the A or CLA

Very interesting clip by AMG. Clearly they still like the idea of being tied up with a bike company so with Ducati now part of Audi, they've used a MV Agusta. For the record, the A45 wouldn't see which way the MV went lol.
