OBD2 wifi link + Rev2 or BMWhat etc...
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I am interested to get additional gauges (e.g. coolant temp.) and fault codes for my 1M. I got this Wifi OBD2 adapter: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005WMHHLQ/...60_cs_sce_dp_1 And both the Rev2 lite and BMWhat lite on the iPad. http://www.devtoaster.com/products/rev/ http://www.ivini-apps.de/bmwhat-bmw-diagnosis.html But in both cases I am not able to get gauges & fault codes I don’t think the problem is coming from the connection as I am able to read the car’s voltage… but nothing more… I had a look on many threats on this topic but, to my knowledge, none were posted specifically on a 1M. Does anybody known if these tools are compatible with the 1M -particularly the European version- ? Thanks ! Jean-Marc |

Sell it and get a P3 Gauge! Clean, it'll fit nicely in your left side vent and you'll get everything you're looking for!

I've used the kiwi on my wrx with a Cobb ap and had access tons of data. I'll see what I can get out of my 1m for you. It's my best guess that you'll need something like the ap to expose more of the ecu logging to the odp port.
You should also look at Harry's lap timer as well. |

i know the numbers should be clear and direct to read, but it seems a little ghetto when other things in the car has a "higher resolution"..
