Here we go :)

After my friend stitched his seats for his MK6 GTI, I have been wanting to do the same thing.

This project will probably take a while. Will update pictures as I go

26/10/11 - arm rest Front, driver and passenger complete

I am not actually stiching it again.
I just stich underneath the original black, so up close you can still see the black criss cross thread. But the red is so much more vibrant, it just draws your attention to it.

Looks great! But labor intensive haha. Keep up the good work, though. Can't wait to see the final product

Thanks guys, I am trying to do it in between school and my P/T job, so it might be slow progress

are you taking off the panels, or doing them in place? Are you using any special tools, or just a regular needle? Props to you. I did my shift boot in a previous car and that was a huge PITA.

I am doing everything in place, my arm hurts after a while just because the way I am angled hahaha but other wise it's pretty fun.

Don't know which part of the car to do next though
