One thing i can say for sure, even on winter tires 225/45/17 all round, the body roll is significantly less than my golf r on race settings (stiffest suspension setup). However, i do miss the progressive steering the R had, i barely had to turn the wheel at low speeds to get the whole thing moving, but that is something i can get used to easily in the E82. |

Never mind found some posts regarding that option. My car is fitted with code 216: Servotronic but i am on winter tires at the monet (Kumho ones mind you, impressive but id still would have chosen Michelin Alpins or Nokians instead) so there will be some understeer issues generally speaking. So far only low speed, like 30kph zones i notice it, cruising speeds it is a very sensitive steering. Last edited by Zombie_Head; 02-16-2018 at 03:50 PM.. |

In the 135i, it's a bit lighter than Servotronic at parking lot speeds. I remember it got heavier when new suspension was installed, though. Can't drive much with one hand now lol. It's noticeable quicker especially when maneuvering where lock to lock it's only one steering wheel turn. Comes handy in slow backhanders in the mountains. I really like it, it's better than the Variable Sport Steering system they now use in F cars. Gonna miss it
