Looks good. Mine should arrive tomorrow; any other mods you are planning on since we seem to be going in a similar direction with updates.

I had this steering installed on mine when it was delivered back in May.
I like it a lot, the weakness in this, is the plastic trim on top (held by 4 screws)
over time, right on top of the screen, it cracked because there is so little material and the fact that sometimes you hold it there sometimes.
so be carefull

How's driving with your hand at the 12 o'clock position? That's my only reservation about this wheel. It looks like it could be uncomfortable?

Why would they design this nice wheel with a piece of hard plastic across the top at 12 oclock? No thanks.

it's alright, but the grip is very thick there, you will take the habit of holding the wheel properly...(9-3)
The other thing that I don t like is the grey stitch, I will take care of that this winter...

I had version 1 on my 135i and though it didn't look as good, I liked that the led's and LCD were indented into the leather, so the issues mentioned above didn't exist. I'm gonna wait it out and see how some of you do with it...I do love the looks of it!

Doesnt the part around the switches come in Alcantara as well or is this an optional extra?

Hey guys, I'm on the fence to purchase this wheel off of a local. Did any more of you guys have it installed? I'd be love to see more reviews of the product.

As of now I have alcantara trim for the face plate on the wheel, and that has shown some wear at the 9 o clock, so I'm assuming that would happen with this wheel as well?

Also does the car need to be coded?

Thanks guys,

I had a 330i w/ performance pkg that came w/ alcantara trim on the wheel and it didn't last at all! Had to switch my wheel out to leather so I'd def be weary of purchasing another wheel w/ alcantara trim.

really? THere have been some mixed reviews on this... some people are saying as long as you clean it with wet microfiber towel you'd be fine...

I'm still not sure whether or not I should get the wheel... I mean i'd love it but at the same time it seems like a pretty gadget...
