Need help..black line tails

Hey all, can someone tell me if i need to get black line taillights coded… i bought a set and the LED strip does not light up, only the bulbs. I have 13’ 128. I see pics of the LED strips light up on other cars but not the ones i bought. Is there a specific black line set i need to get? Any help appreciated.

Both of them LED strips dont light up? When I installed mine 1 of the far out light bulb needed to be tightened up a bit. Somehow this light bulb connects to the electronics side of the tail light. If its not firmly tight wont make a contact and led strip wont light up. Good luck 👍

Thanks guys. My 128 came with the taillights that look like black lines except it’s not tinted. So unless you run that wire then LED bars don’t work?

If you have Halogens on your car most likely need to use the wire jump hes talking about according to the thread. If you are not sure, post a photo of your headlights here.
