Supersprint section 2 (resonator delete)

What's the difference between me buying a Supersprint section 2 resonator delete and going to a muffler shop and have them chop my resonator off and replace it with a straight pipe. I don't see the point in paying nearly $500 for this.

There is no difference. One will be clamped. Other will be welded. If they use quality steel, and make quality welds, you're fine. Problems arise if the weld is crappy and it rusts out. At that point you just reweld it.

Shame... you could just gut them and carefully weld them back in place though.

I still wouldn't delete the resonator. Get a new muffler or just cut it off all togetherness.

Just buy the SS piece and don't look back, you won't regret it, currently $324 at ECS
