E82 135 n55 intake pipe question
Hi all.
Cars thrown a few codes for intake pressure. I think I've found the leak but I think I'm missing a gasket. If anyone has recently removed this part of their intake and remembers what went where can you chime in. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=13_1357 So where part 10 would be (a hose clamp) I have a torx bit that mates these two plastic pipes together. When I took them apart there's no seal in there so I can't imagine this was ever air tight to begin with! Train of thought tells me someone has left out a seal at some point. Anyone confirm? I think that perhaps I should have either: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/13717599292/ or https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/13717599291/ |

Pre-turbo will always be under vacuum, so not boost leak.
The screw is correct, it ties the upper and lower intake tubes together, with a ribbed gasket on the lower, male part of the connection. upper air duct - 13717599286 lower air duct - 13717599290 ribbed gasket - 13717599292 Upper- screw on the left in this pic Lower- screw goes in hole on the top right. Note the ribbed gaskets are installed here Ribbed gasket
