Familiarize yourself with realoem.com. Therein you should find correct part number. Have to say tho that I would highly suspect the CRT.

Hey, I've taken a look into it. Thanks for forwarding me the link, it helped me get a better idea. There are two options indicated in two separate diagrams. It seems like they're the same hose but it lists two different part # as I mentioned in the initial post. I'm just afraid, for whatever strange reason that only one of them would work. The reason why I think it's the lower coolant hose is because when I touched it, i felt the liquid underneath. It may in fact be coming out of the exit of the CRT but I can't pinpoint the leak from it.

I know redefine.e82 has moved on to an M3 , but wanted to let everyone/anyone that ends up here know that the difference between these is "manual" (17127599454) vs "DCT" (17127599455).

weidner 17127599455 has the additional hose in the middle that connects to the oil cooler/heat exchanger, 17127599454 does not. If you have that, you will need 17127599455
