When I got my tune from Active, I talked to Andrew over the phone to discuss the modifications I had done to my car and what kind of tuning I wanted done. I actually mentioned this exact exhaust and if it was available, and he told me that they had the completed test unit just sitting in their garage and he didn't really know what they were going to do with it.

I told him I had a muffler delete and he commented that it was pretty much the same as the Active 128i exhaust they had made as far as performance went.

when i had my flash done in march, i also expected to order the exhaust. AA said the project was on "hold" until they could determine the customer need to continue development and manufacturing. have not heard anything since march.

I think he trigger to start a group buy will be price. If they already completed a prototype, must be able to figure out cost.

Its Alive! Exhaust should be landing in 60 days with an intro price of $499 shipped to the lower 48.

That's very reasonably priced compared to the bmwp exhaust and it's just an axle-back

EDIT: just realized this was axle-back also, but a much more free flowing exhaust.

Video on the 1st page. It should be loud but not extremely loud with the mini muffler.
