2011 BMW 128i M Sport, Slicktop, Manual
I’ve decided to sell my 128. It’s a 2011 M Sport model, manual transmission, slicktop, manual seats, xenon’s, no nav, comfort access and HK sound. It’s kind of as good as these come. It’s been my street/track car for the last year and a half or so (my second 128) and this has been one of the most rewarding cars I’ve ever owned. It’s been with me through the ranks of HPDE and it has shown its taillights to many (much) higher performance cars. It’s the last of the “classic” BMW formula of lightweight, RWD, hydraulic steering, NA inline 6, and a nice mechanical LSD. The car has a clean title but the previous owner had a boo-boo with the rear bumper and the passenger door was bumped in a parking lot under my ownership. I have an unpainted OEM M Sport bumper that I haven’t installed that I’ll include in the sale. The passenger door may be about $500 or so to fix. Also, because this car was a track car, the car is not a garage queen. There’s road rash all along the front end. 2011 128i M Sport - VIN# WBAUP7C56BVM54804 - Alpine white on terracotta - 121k mi - Slicktop - 6spd manual - Manual, heated seats with bolster adjustment and thigh extension - HK sound - Xenon headlights - 3130lb with no driver and 3/5 tank of gas - 251whp/217wtq - Diffsonline 3.73 LSD (just recently rebuilt) with a (very hard to get) finned diff cover from an E60 525/530. - N54 intake manifold with custom dyno tune from Bob at Stage FP - Active autowerke catless headers with secondary cat and OEM M Sport exhaust - TCKline 2 way coilovers with 300/600# spring rates - TCKline camber plates and rear camber adjustment, running -3.5 degrees camber up front and -2.5 degrees in the back - Poly bushings in the rear subframe, spherical bushings in the front lower control arms and M3 control arms - Upgraded front and rear sway bars (I think Hotchkis or maybe Eibach) - PFC08 pads front and rear. Also including a set of Hawk HPS pads front and rear. - Redline 75w110 in diff, Redline MTL in trans, Castrol SRF in brake fluid, Motul 5w40 for engine (all recently refreshed) - Tuned out all the 128 electronic nannies that can really hamper performance on track - Oil cooler with N54 oil filter housing I have a whole folder full of receipts and can provide the full maintenance history from the previous owner to me but it’s too long to put in this ad. Along with consistent engine oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and diff fluid changes, here’s what I’ve done in my ownership: - Custom dyno tune with Stage FP + N54 intake manifold - Steering angle sensor - Bleed clutch fluid - Coil packs and spark plugs - Rebuilt LSD with Diffsonline 3.73 - New pads and rotors front and rear - Valve cover assembly - Water pump and thermostat - Oil cooler thermostat The 128 platform (non-M E9x in general) needs a number of mods to be really good- and this car pretty much as has all of them. This is quite different from a stock 128. To recreate this car with these mods would way more than buying one already built. This car really is so good to drive. I’m only selling it because I got an F80 M3 to replace it. I’ll regret selling this one day. Feel free to message with any questions. PS- I have a lot more photos. Having trouble uploading them to the site. Feel free to reach out for photos. Last edited by jox5; 09-30-2024 at 04:18 PM.. Reason: Price Change |

Yeah.. I'm wondering if I should keep it also. Track set up:17x9 ARC8's (not sure of offset) on a 255/40/17. I have a few street sets: 1) 18x8.5 ARC8's 245/35/18 2) 17x8.5 TR wheels 225/45/17 3) OEM M sport wheels 17x8 (or 8.5?) on 225/45/17.

Hm.. I'll consider.
I've been going back and forth with selling this car. It's excellent to drive. On the flipside, my wife and I are tracking more and I'd feel more comfortable putting her into a caged car. Decisions, decisions. |
