120D coupe upgrades

I'm considering purchasing a low milage 120D to use as second car. Used to have 120D hatchback and it was one my best cars ever.

Ideally, I'd get a 123D, but I find the overall gearing too low for longer touring, so i'm looking for a 120D and do a remap or perhaps even some hardware as well. I get the feeling that changing the gearing of a 123D is quite complex.

Where in Germany, preferably near Köln/Düsseldorf will I find a reputable diesel tuner to help me out?
