Bmw 123d e82 2011 - Car will not start - HELP!

hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue which started with my car.

car was working fine the night before, next morning I went to start it and nothing doesn't crank over.

usual when I put the key fob in the ignition, it makes like a locking sound, then I press the start button and the lights on the dash usually pop up then go off then I start my car, let it warm up then off I go.

when I put the key fob in, it didn't make the lock sound it normally makes to let me know its taken the key and when I press the start/stop button the lights on the dash didn't show up, however my radio was working fine and my seatbelt signs was showing, I can lock unlock and get the windows to go up and down.

I checked battery terminals all good, I even tried to jump start it with my x5 and nothing at all.

I changed the battery coming up to a year now, which is also a genuine Bmw battery which was put in.

I was thinking to switch out the ignition Lock Barrel to see if this would do anything, I have Carly which I usually get my fault codes from but from my understanding now it will not connect to the car for me to check faults because I cant even turn it on.

if anyone can shed some light this way would be amazing.
