Oh god my car hates the bumps on Akuna with a passion..maybe somewhere smoother?
Old Pacific is definitely off the cards after that JDM crash, po po are crawling all over that route now.

Yeah we can cancel Akuna - i really don't like the bumps there now; mind you a ran it a few days ago and actually enjoyed DSC cranking in on the downhill corners - DSC REALLY works. RNP would be good, but maybe too far down for some people? We could try somewhere else. Just need some more people and then we'll determine a place/time through PMs. Last edited by Taymaishu; 05-10-2010 at 10:10 PM.. |

Ah bugger. Just remembered I've got a dinner that night in Carlingford, starting at 7pm. I'll try to pop out a bit early.
On another note, my new "custom" quad exhuast FINALLY arrived: pic1 pic2 pic3 edit: yeah aus135i! Come along dude. It'd be nice to have you buff my rear bumper again... or perhaps I can buff yours this time 'round. Last edited by woosh; 05-11-2010 at 08:08 AM.. |

Met up with Simon last night for an Akuna run, and he came as co-pilot. We then took his 135 and Christine out to Bobbin Head which as usual was an utterly amazingly smooth, fast run. I think Simon really liked Bobbin Head!
Upon leaving Bobbin Head, we took the onramp to the F3 back to Wahroonga, and just as I mashed my accelerator through the firewall, saw some reflections up ahead. Sure enough, was a cop hiding on the onramp getting people speeding down that big hill on the F3 just before Wahroonga. Gave a cheeky wave as i passed, then got a text from Simon "F**k that was close!" Have to do something next week with the regulars. Let me know if you guys are keen for Friday. |
