09 Waiting Transport

Ok this is strange, the 1-800 Number shows me still waiting for a ship as of this morning. I'll have to call the dealership.

Ok though the 1-800 Number says I am still at the port the BMW USA WEB site says that I am on the boat! I have to find out what ship, will post to see who I am on the high seas with!:biggrin:

Maybe on the same ship as mine, the Don Quijote that left Sept. 16th.

Production completed 9/8
At port: 9/11
In transit: 9/19

Question: How do you find out what ship and track that? My VIN doesn't show up on the Wallenius website....

If you left on the 19th, I think you'd have to be on the Undine.

"The vehicle is on the Don Quijote, and is scheduled to arrive at Port Bayonne NJ on the 25th of this month. That will put it into the dealership sometime around the 1st of October - we'll hold it safe in our warehouse for pickup."

add another to the list of Don Quijote passengers :biggrin:

no, I'm not on a ship yet. I'm just guessing because that appears to be the only vessel bound for NY that left on the 19th.

It was dropped in Munich on 9/17. I guess we'll see when they load the next NJ bound boat.

Woot, I made the boat. Checked the owners circle last night, was still at the port. Checked again this morning and it shows as being in transit to VPC!

out of sheer boredom at work today I called my BMW sales guy and found out I am on the Patriot!! Swwweeeeett!!!! I looked up where the ship is--somewhere off Newfoundland headed to NY I guess.

as I walked down the hall whistling "the waiting is the hardest part"......lol!

Hey everyone, for what it's worth, my dealer told me today that my 128i will be delivered to the dealership in Mississippi between the 3rd and the 10th of October. I left port in B'haven on 9/19, and the dealer says I'll be in Charleston on 10/1. Hopefully, that will help others estimate their delivery dates.
