N54 Forge Diverters

I recently converted them from bypass to vent to atmosphere. I went through and swapped out all the vac hoses and did the forge maintenance kits on the diverters. I noticed that from a hard pull from 2-3rd at close to redline, when I got to shift all I hear is a short quick spurt of air and not the normal woosh and the power feels sort of flat. 1st - 2nd or 3rd - 4th feels normal. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
