I'm guessing it would be okay, but it might come down to tire choice. If you do have any rubbing on the strut, a thin spacer should solve it.

The rears are stock size for 135 and will fit w/o any problems. I have them on my 128. Stock on the front [135] is 215/40 18 [on my car] so the 225 might just rub.

Front is going to be the concern. I think it would be okay, but worst case scenario, you just need a thin spacer.

Check out this: https://willtheyfit.com/
Also, APEX has a great fitment guide and useful even if you are not mounting APEX wheels! https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide

looks perfect to me, elderly springs and suspension rebound from bumps is your enemy.

No problem. I use that tire size on 18x8.5 et 45 (Apex) with no issues. Your rear tire / wheel combo. is almost exactly stock for Sport Pak. , so again, no issue.

Thanks for the info. I bought style 264 rims and put fronts 225/40zr18 and rears 245/40zr18. Looks and rides great. No rubbing. 🙂
