Hmmm, now I'm getting curious since you wrote "hope it's new here", where did you find it?
It is not new, this picture was taken and posted by me on this board, in my "E91 launch in Norway" thread, and I have not posted it anywhere else. (no big deal, just asking) |

I sat in the car pictured above today - It has the M-sports steering wheel.
It's similar to the ordinary sports steering wheel, but also has "bumps" all around the back of the wheel, except where the perforated leather is.

There seems to be alot of Le Man Blue sports around in the UK. I picked up mine Thursday, I saw it in the showroom on Saturday and couldn't resist. A friend 200 miles away was in the dealer to pick up his E60 5 series after having some work done and he called me to ask about my new car as there was a le mans blue sport in the showroom. I went to another local dealer to get some rubber mats yesterday and you guessed it....there was a sport in the same colour.
Wonder if BMW are having all the dealers stock the sport in the showroom in this colour. If I remember right all the press shots of the 1 series sport are Le Man blue and the so were all the M5 tv reviews I remember seeing.... Wonder what colour the new F1 car will be next year? Got to admit looked A1 in the showroom, I just couldn't resist, especially when I got the dealer to give me the best deal ever, almost £4k off as he was desperate for end of month and year targets...that desperate to register before the end of the month he sent one of the salesmen to my insurance company 80 miles each way to collect the insurance docs so he could register. |
