A tune for the N51?
I've been reading up on the forums for awhile, and it seems that the only option for us 1 Series SULEV owners is the tune made by AA. Reading other threads, some also had speculation that the Evolve tune for the 125i may work for the N51, since they both share the 3-stage intake manifold. Sorry if this has been discussed numerous times on the forum, but maybe something new has come about, or someone with an N51 has tried the Evolve tune. Thank you!

I don't think you'll get any better than the AA. That's the only mod done to my engine, and I got 220whp/207wtq on a mustang dyno, which is better than some cars with catless headers

I can vouch for AA. Had their tune on my 128i with the 3 stage manifold and it was solid. Great tech support and good product.

N51 really only has AA. The other cheaper n51 alternative would be OE Tunning if I recall correctly. See e90post from 2011-2012 if you want to dig deeper
