Montreal for Canada GP

I plan on getting GA tickets. Will I be able to see anything? There are 9 of us going and we basically want to walk around and party most of the time but definitely see the cars and part of the race. thoughts?

DO NOT DO GA.
Learn for my mistakes; there's a very small area from which you can see clearly, the rest is crap. Go on the grandstands by the hairpin.

+1.. We used to go regularly and the hairpin area has the best views..

I'm a fan of the Senna Complex myself. (grandstand 11 and 12 I believe) The view is amazing and it's an interesting series of corners. Last year Alonso drove through the grass four times there! At the end of the race you can duck the fence and run out onto the track in time to see the post race action. Last year I was right front row watching Hamilton park and jump out of his car after his first win! Also got a great view of the trophy and champagne spraying ceremony. It was a special moment to say the least.
