They are one offs for BMW employees and special customers but all costs are handled in advance before work commences.
There are several BMW AG executives and family and friends who have personalised 1M Coupe's.
Totally reasonable explanation and the execs and families of course get some perks(lucky dogs). But, couldn't BMW offer another color that is already being used in the Leipzig plant?

Dackel
I had a feeling that wouldn't be the only special colored 1M. I'd love to see the others.

To keep it exclusive they only offered three colors to customers.

All in all I think about 10 special request @ cost Individual 1M's were produced.
They were several requests on regular individual but every one was rejected.

I think two or three in Singapore. I have seen a Fire Orange in Berlin and Red in London but I am not sure if that is a aftermarket paint wrap. I know of a Frozen Grey and classic Polaris Silver @ BMW to match someones 2002.
There has been another Java green.
Some customers have even received (@ cost) Safety Car features.
When I say @ cost because they are only one-offs cust. had to pay extra, for manufacturing as they are not volume produced.

What the hell is BMW doing only making this car for such a short time. They could have easily have carried this car indefinitely.
