Help: Grinding noise at low speed

2018 120i, driven ~50,000km. Started experiencing this sharp grinding noise few months back but it comes and goes, traits:

- noise doesn't appear in the first 3-5 mins of driving
- noise usually comes on at low speed < 20km/h
- sometimes the noise can be heard when in reversing gear
- no noise at all over 20km/h

Took my car to the mechanics but they couldn't figure out why my car is making this noise, car doesn't make noise all the time at low speed so it makes troubleshooting a bit harder. However I am noticing this noise more and more.

Can anybody help!? Really want to get it fixed before this becomes a bigger issue and I'm not the smartest when it comes to cars.
