I notice you're in California. If you're in Southern California you can run summer tires pretty much all year, and a great and popular summer tire is the Michelin PS4S. Had them on my 135i and loved them.
If not in SoCal, a good all season tire is the Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S. There are many choices. These are mine. Probably should've put this in the "Wheels & Tires" section of the forum. |

Forgot to mention in my post above that the Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S has a projected tread life of 80k miles based on Consumer Report's test.

https://www.consumerreports.org/prod...4044/overview/ Goodyear's tread life warranty is 50,000 miles for these tires, and 25,000 miles "on the rear tires for vehicles with different front and rear tire-size fitments." So maybe not as great as it seems... |

You'll probably have to narrow that down yourself based on how and when you drive the car.
My 135i is just a weekend toy, so I run Nitto NT05 tires. I've been happy with the traction. It'll never see snow and only ever seen rain on accident.

Looks like the Michelin and Continental warranties are very similar.
https://www.michelinman.com/warranty.html https://www.continentaltire.com/warranty I'm curious if anyone here has ever taken them up on the towing? |

https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/utqg-rating# I should add some detail. Tire manufacturers do the ratings and they only apply within the brand. Also, there are more parameters to consider than tread wear. In reality, they are useless. Consumer Reports and Tire Rack do publish some useful data. Unfortunately most of it's ignored simply because the typical tire consumer's focus is mostly on price. Anyway, Michelin is the very best, and it has retained that crown for many years. Buy the best you can afford. Nothing you do to your car matters as much as tires. That's all that connects you to the road. My research and experiences takes me to Michelin PS4S but your needs might be different.
