Correct Lower Spring Position with New Shocks?

Hey All,

I just replaced the front shocks in my 08 135 and when i decompressed the springs they both settled on the new shock like this on the bottom. I noticed this was not as far down as when I took it off. Is this something to worry about before I put it all back together?

Koni STR.T with stock springs.

Thanks,
Patrick

Looks like the lower spring pad shifted. Best to make sure it sits properly. A few mm/cm off is ok. Should be able to compress spring a little and readjust. Compare to upper pad too.

Alright I'll give it another shot tonight. The upper pad is tight and in the right spot and I thought it was odd that both springs seemed to sit like this on the shocks when I decompressed. Thanks for the response!
