285 in the rear

I'm interested in fitting the most tire width possible in the rear without fender rolling on stock sport suspension. I have heard this is possible with the correct wheel offset.

What is the offset that is needed?

What aspect ratio will work, 285/30 or 285/35? Assume 18" wheel.

If you search, there is a long thread about this. It is very tough, you are dealing with mm's.
