Looks great! Maybe I missed it, but what are the offsets/widths on the Style 71's?

BTW A DA sander worked miracles. I have now done 4 and a spare.
3 coats of color, 2 coats of clear VHT Graphite abd Clear. The backs with VHT black to hide the brake dust.

Black first:

Then tape, color and clear the fronts.

Came out great!

This is a square set of 18x8 ET41 with 235/40R18 tires all around. I wanted to be able to rotate tires, hence the square set. They also made staggered set of these that had 18x8ET41 Fronts and 18x8.5ET50 Rears

Hey, bumping this thread because I too, am a TX 135i owner that now runs Style 71s and mine are also in need of some refinishing =D

Couple of questions for you now that it's been a while:

1.) what sealant did you use on the barrels?

and 2.) How's it holding up?

the work you did looks awesome BTW! here's how my car sits right now:

Thanks for the kinds words! Always good to see another 1er running around here in the Lone Star State!

With the 2-piece design of the Style 71s, the entire barrel of the wheel is a single piece and then the wheel center is another piece. Because of this, no sealant or gasket is required like you would need on a 3-piece wheel where the barrel is split into 2 pieces.

The paint on the wheels has gotten a few rock chips, but overall they're holding up decently. The polished lip is also a bit of a pain to keep looking nice, but a Mother's powerball mini helps out a lot with that.

Unfortunately, I think I'll be going back to stock soon after hitting some debris in the road and damaging two of the wheels...
